Sixty years ago in 1964, on September 21st, a charitable trust was created by community leaders to provide scholarships for deserving students from the public high schools in our school district to further their post-secondary studies. These citizens recognized that the means and circumstances of Lower Merion residents vary widely, and that access to higher education is vital to sustaining and growing the community. Since then, LMTSF has awarded almost $5 million to over 4,600 students with true financial need.
We hope our community will continue to help us support our students for the next Sixty Years!
