This award was established in honor of Howard Miller and his wife Anita, who spent the majority of her life devoted to the enrichment and education of the children in her community. Anita was a reading tutor for the Lower Merion School District, established a variety of educational and recreational programs within the district and her local community, served as Home and School President in three different schools, and was actively involved with the Scouts.
