John J. “Fritz” Brennan is still considered one of the best high school football coaches in the East. As head football coach at LMHS, Coach Brennan led teams that achieved a record 32-game winning streak from 1954 to 1958 and won several suburban championships. Mr. Brennan was an assistant coach at LM from 1947-52, then served as head coach until 1969. His career record at LM was 105 wins, 33 losses, and 5 ties. From 1969 until his retirement he served as school athletic director.
